Our 2024-2025 Coalfield School Story came to an end this past week on the biggest stage our high school baseball team could be on. As my 8:30 AM alarm sounded this morning reminding me to pray for our school, students, staff, vounteers, and their families, I am thankful for the people that God has put in place to support our students. Thank you to our custodians, our cafeteria staff, our teachers, our teacher aides/assistants, our office staff, our coaches, our bus drivers, our counselors, our volunteers, our community, our SRO, and those who have supported our school with donations. I also want to thank our students for all their hard work, enthusiasm , and energy they put into creating our Story.
This past week at the State Baseball Tournament in Murfreesboro was a great illustration of what makes “The Coalfield School Story” one worth telling. It took a lot of folks pulling together to hold things down at school, to donate and manage funds, to provide transportation, to chaperone, to coach, to organize, and to support so that our students could have an opportunity that many never experience . But that’s what we do at Coalfield …So, as the 2024-2025 chapter of our Story comes to an end, I want to leave you with pictures and posts of our final week of school…each week is an adventure in the Coalfield School Story…One-Heartbeat!
