Mr. Matt Jones is our 5th-8th grade teacher of the year. This is Mr. Jones’ 25th year teaching. He took over the middle school STEM program approximately 4 years ago and has continued to grow it each year. His students are always engaged in some form of learning. He keeps his students busy planning and working on projects that help improve our school. Mr. Jones has added new equipment to the STEM lab each year and is looking forward to filling the new STEM lab when it becomes available. Coach Jones also serves as the defensive coordinator on the high school football team. We are blessed to have Coach Jones as a teacher and coach at Coalfield.
